Hmmm…

I have a hard time believing what is published in this book, all of my hours of research says different than what this book states. If you are buying cheap essential oils that aren’t tested you may be getting chemicals but the 100% pure third party GM/CS tested oils are super beneficial! EO’s are recorded being used all the way back in biblical times, I’m not going to let this author tell me any different. It feels like a book written to scare people.

It seems you might have missed some pretty critical parts of my book such as "essential oils" are not just simple "oils"; they are specific chemical compounds with unique properties no matter what "quality" you buy or who makes them. If I'm being honest this alone makes me skeptical that you have really read my book since I deeply cover this in the beginning chapters? The notion that essential oils were used in biblical times is a widespread lie that is spread by bloggers. Again I go over this in pretty good detail in my book. The condensation coil was not even invented until 1771, which is needed to extract "essential oils". My book is grounded in independent, peer-reviewed scientific research, not industry-sponsored studies which is likely where you are getting your they are "super beneficial" beliefs from. It's important to distinguish between unbiased research and those funded by companies with a financial interest in selling these products. If you felt scared, it's likely because the information is challenging your beliefs but that is not the same as me writing a book just to "scare people." Anyhow I encourage you to take some time to fully read my book and try to move past your emotional reactions to new information so at the very least you can make a more informed decision about using them.

Full of strong (but not necessarily correct) opinions about essential oils.

The author is obviously a very intelligent and interesting person. I wonder why she has such a personal vendetta against essential oils. The science is there. It’s already been proven time and time again how effective and safe essential oils are. I’ve watched and liked lots of her videos and thought I’d enjoy learning more from her perspective about EOs. But, her tone comes off as, “Trust ME! Listen to ME!” I think she’s smart but she’s coming across to me like she’s trying to prove how smart she is and that anyone who thinks different is an ignoramus. Lots of the book is just her opinion and a good bit of what I read is just incorrect.

Hi Kalli, Your review feels less like genuine feedback and more like an effort to discredit me. As a high-ranking DoTerra rep, it’s no surprise you’d dismiss independent studies as “opinions” while defending essential oils using research funded by the same multi-billion-dollar company you work for. That’s far from unbiased. I also doubt you’ve actually followed my work. I end every single one of my videos by telling people, “You are smart enough to do this!”—hardly the tone of someone who thinks others are unintelligent. My entire decade-plus career has been dedicated to being a real human who helps others feel confident enough to take their health into their own hands. It’s also worth noting that you left multiple one-star reviews for different products on the same day. That pattern speaks volumes about your intent here, which seems less about the book’s content and more about attempting to attack my character. If the information challenges what you’ve been taught, I encourage you to dig deeper into why that might feel uncomfortable instead of dismissing it outright. Take care, April G.

Son of a Nutcracker

I usually don’t review things I have purchased because I don’t know what to say, this however, left me feeling very sad. It absolutely amazes me how much people hurt themselves and others simply by living in the “modern” world without even knowing it. To say this read is the best I’ve read book wise and “loving” every single page, would be a lie. It’s heartfelt, the amount of love this book brings to all who read it, is nothing short of incredible. I genuinely wish every single human could have a copy. My hope is that we who have, share it! April, may I give from the bottom of my heart, the biggest thank you for being the first person to take your time and dedication to this knowledge and pass it on. Thank you for wanting myself and my family to know just how dangerous things can be, this is an act of selfless love. No other person has ever cared enough to do so, and for that, each person who has read this book should feel nothing short of the same way. It may not be the best book you ever read, for good reason, but it should give you the best feeling you can have. And, I am smart enough to make better choices and decisions about the health of myself and my family. Thank you for all you do to make sure this point is driven home! ♥️
