Shipping Policy
Please review this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase with She Is Of The Woods, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping terms outlined below.
Print-on-Demand Fulfillment
All physical books sold by She Is Of The Woods are printed on demand through a third-party production partner. Books are produced only after an order is placed and are not pre-stocked or warehoused.
Because of this fulfillment model:

Orders are not shipped immediately after purchase

Production must be completed before shipment begins

Delivery timelines reflect both production time and carrier transit time
Production and shipping timeframes provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays related to production volume, carrier capacity, seasonal demand, or customs processing do not constitute merchant fault.
Separate Orders and Shipments
Each order is processed individually.
Multiple orders cannot be combined into a single shipment, even if placed by the same customer or shipped to the same address. Each order incurs its own production and shipping process.
Shipping Responsibility and Carrier Liability
Once an order has been shipped and tracking information has been issued, responsibility transfers to the shipping carrier.
She Is Of The Woods is not liable for items that are:

Lost in transit

Damaged during shipment

Stolen after delivery
Carrier delays, delivery errors, or service interruptions are outside of our control and do not qualify an order for refund or replacement.
Shipping Claims
Orders Without Shipping Protection
If shipping protection was not selected at checkout, customers are solely responsible for filing claims directly with the shipping carrier.
Customers must retain all packaging materials and tracking information, as carriers require this documentation to initiate a claim or investigation.
She Is Of The Woods does not file carrier claims on behalf of customers.
Orders With Shipping Protection
If optional shipping protection was purchased at checkout, claims must be filed directly with the protection provider using the instructions provided in the confirmation email.
Address Accuracy and Returned Shipments
Customers are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Address changes cannot be made once an order has entered production or shipment.
If an order is shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address provided by the customer:

The order will not be reshipped

The order will not be refunded

She Is Of The Woods will not assist in locating, redirecting, or recovering the shipment
Any items returned due to an incorrect address are not eligible for reshipment or refund. All returned items are immediately discarded upon receipt and cannot be retrieved or reprocessed.
Orders affected by address errors do not constitute non-delivery or merchant error.
International Shipping
International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in product or shipping prices.
She Is Of The Woods has no control over customs processing times, inspections, or fees and cannot intervene with foreign customs authorities.
Unclaimed, Refused, or Returned International Shipments
If an international shipment is refused, unclaimed, delayed, or returned due to customs issues or failure to pay required fees:

Shipping fees are non-refundable

Print-on-demand items are not eligible for refund or reshipment

Returned items may be destroyed by the carrier or customs authority
She Is Of The Woods assumes no liability for international shipments affected by customs actions or customer non-compliance with import requirements.
