Returns, Refunds, and Order Policies

Please review this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase with She Is Of The Woods, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Our No Returns Policy Explained

She Is Of The Woods sells books that are printed on demand and produced specifically for each individual order. Due to the nature of print-on-demand production, we do not maintain inventory, storage, or resale capacity for returned books.

For this reason, all print-on-demand book sales are final.

While the content of each book is clearly described prior to purchase, a customer’s personal response to a book is inherently subjective. Preferences regarding writing style, tone, structure, depth, or presentation do not constitute a defect and do not qualify an order for return or refund.

She Is Of The Woods does not accept returns or issue refunds for print-on-demand books for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Ordering the incorrect title

  • Changing one’s mind after purchase

  • Dissatisfaction with content or approach

  • Expectations regarding formatting, layout, or presentation

Unauthorized Returns

Any items returned without prior written authorization:

  • Will not be refunded

  • Will not be returned to the sender

  • Will be destroyed upon receipt

She Is Of The Woods does not inspect, restock, store, or resell unauthorized returns.

Shipping, Delivery, and Carrier Responsibility

Once an order has been shipped, responsibility transfers to the carrier.

She Is Of The Woods is not liable for items that are lost, damaged, or stolen during transit.

Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Shipments

  • Customers are responsible for filing claims directly with the postal service or shipping carrier

  • Claims must be submitted according to the carrier’s policies and timelines

  • She Is Of The Woods does not issue refunds or replacements for carrier-related issues

If optional shipping protection was purchased at checkout, customers must file claims directly through the protection provider using the instructions provided in the confirmation email.

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders cannot be canceled once placed.

Print-on-demand production and fulfillment begin immediately after checkout. Once an order has entered processing or production, cancellation is not possible. Customers are responsible for reviewing order details carefully before completing a purchase.

Digital Products and eBook Policy

All digital products, including eBooks and downloadable files, are non-refundable and non-returnable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Claims of accidental purchase

  • Claims of incompatibility with a device or reader

  • Claims of preferring a physical copy

  • Claims of not understanding the file format

Important Digital Product Disclosures

  • Some eBooks are provided as PDF files

  • Some eBooks require compatible eReader software or devices

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring device compatibility prior to purchase

  • Customers are responsible for downloading and storing their purchased files

Claims such as “I meant to purchase a physical copy” do not qualify for a refund. If a customer wishes to purchase a physical book after purchasing an eBook, the physical copy must be purchased separately before any consideration of replacement is reviewed.

She Is Of The Woods is not responsible for failure to download files, loss of files after download, or device incompatibility.
