What makes your capsules different?
When it comes to herbal wellness, trust matters. Unfortunately, too many supplements on the market contain hidden fillers or don’t even match what’s on the label:
At Wild Wood Apothecary, we believe you deserve better. That’s why our Botanical Guarantee is simple:
Every herb is exactly what the label says—nothing more, nothing less.
Here’s how we do it:
• Botanical ID testing from our farmers — each batch must pass identity verification using chemical fingerprinting or DNA-based testing.
• Independent verification — we test every herb ourselves using advanced botanical fingerprinting methods. We never rely on paper COAs or visual inspection alone.
• Third-party testing through Alkemist Labs — the gold standard in herbal identity testing. Alkemist uses High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) and other advanced techniques to confirm authenticity.
If an herb doesn’t pass any part of this process, we simply won’t use it — because your trust matters more to us than unethical profits.
And we don’t stop there:
• No fillers — no rice, maltodextrin, or hidden starches.
• No flow agents or binders — just pure herbal material in vegan capsules.
• No essential oils or concentrates — only whole, traditional herbs, used the way they’ve been used for generations.
We take this seriously because many in our community are on sensitive healing journeys—balancing hormones, supporting digestion, calming the nervous system—and the last thing they need is unnecessary additives.
If you’ve tried product after product and felt disappointed, you’re not imagining it. Many so-called herbal supplements are cut with cheap ingredients that don’t belong in your wellness routine.
We’re here to change that.
Our promise is simple: what you see on the label is what’s in the bottle—safe, simple herbs for safe, simple healing.

Common Questions, Honest Answers.
Can I take multiple Synergism Capsules at once?
Yes, many people choose to take more than one Synergism blend, especially when supporting different areas of wellness. We do recommend starting with one blend for 3–5 days to give your body time to adjust and notice how it feels. From there, you can combine blends in the way that works best for you—some take them together, some space them out, and others rotate them based on what they need most that day. Take it slow, stay consistent, and trust your body to guide you.
Where are your Synergism Capsules made?
We’re proud to partner with Beehive Botanicals, a small, family-owned facility in Wisconsin known for its integrity and attention to detail. They’re FDA-registered, NSF-certified, and regularly inspected—using methodical practices to ensure every batch meets the highest standards.
From there, our capsules are shipped to our fulfillment team in Idaho—one of the few FDA-registered shipping facilities in the country. This means your order is stored in a clean, temperature-controlled environment until it reaches your door—not in overheated warehouses or bulk storage units.
We’ve chosen every partner with care so you can feel confident in what you’re receiving—because it matters. A lot.
Where are your herbs sourced from?
Most of our herbs come from small, trusted farms in the U.S. and Europe—but we always source based on where each plant grows best. For some herbs, that means going straight to their country of origin to honor how they’ve traditionally been grown and used. We never choose the cheapest option—we choose the most honest one. Every herb is tested for identity and purity before it ever goes into one of our blends, because quality starts at the root.
Are your herbs organic?
We use organic or ecologically harvested herbs whenever and wherever possible. Ecologically harvested means herbs are grown or gathered with care for the environment, often in ways that go beyond standard organic practices—focusing on sustainability, land health, and traditional harvesting methods. That said, we’re not currently USDA certified organic—not because we don’t value certification, but because we’d rather keep our products accessible than raise prices just to pay for a logo. As we grow, we’re hopeful we’ll be able to absorb the cost of certification ourselves—without passing it onto our community. In the meantime, we put our resources into what truly matters: the herbs, the testing, and the quality in every capsule.
Who is formulating your creations?
Every formula is created by April Graham, a cultural herbalist with a lifelong connection to plant medicine and a worldwide community of learners. She founded Wild Wood Apothecary in 2014 as a way to support her mission of teaching herbalism freely—without hiding knowledge behind paywalls or selling generic white-label products.
April’s formulas are rooted in lived experience and built on years of deep herbal practice. They’re not trendy, outsourced blends—they’re thoughtfully crafted, experience-heavy creations made to support real people with real herbs, just as they’ve been used for generations.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
We completely understand that not every herb works the same way for every body. That’s why we offer store credit on any product you’re not happy with (excluding books). Each bottle is designed to last 60 days, and we ask that you give it at least 30 days after delivery before deciding. Herbs take time to support the body—they’re not quick-fix solutions like pharmaceuticals. As a small, independent business, we’re not able to offer refunds—but we’re committed to helping you find something that better fits your needs. If after 30 days you’re not feeling supported, we’ll issue a credit so you can try a different blend.
